Valentine’s Day is the one time of year you’ll see loud proclamations of love across social media, in the glances exchanged at dining tables, and in the eyes of a man walking home from work with a giant bouquet of roses for his sweetheart. And so, with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we wanted to feature one of our brides’ beautiful wedding which wasn’t actually on Valentine’s Day, but the colors do make us feel that it actually was! 🙂
When Roszhawn first contacted Brides & Tailor for a custom wedding dress design, she knew she wanted a timeless, statement ballgown. She also wanted to have beadings all over the bodice, and we suggested having see-through tulle that matched her skin tone color so the sleeves look illusional on her body. The end result was just out of this world! We truly appreciate it when brides make a long drive to get to us.We can ship our gowns to all states but meeting our brides is also something I look forward to! Roszhawn made the drive from Cincinnati to Michigan and needless to say, this was a memorable experience she will never forget! When you look at these photos below, you’ll know why- Her gown was a STATEMENT one!
On her wedding day, the colors were just so pretty! The groom wore a Black Tuxedo. The bride’s hairstyle looked very classy and elegant, and the best part about the makeup was the bold red lipstick color. They chose Black and Red for the bridesmaids and groomsmens’ outfits, and the beautiful contrast definitely reminded me of Valentine’s Day in the middle of October:) The cake also matched with beautiful roses and black accents on it. The bridal bouquet was white in addition to all the bridesmaids’ bouquets. In brief, even though the Wedding Dress was black and the entire theme was Red and Black, it wasn’t too Gothic-y! It was a mix of classiness, vibrancy and elegance.
So for all the brides planning to get married on Valentine’s day, out of all of the cheese romantic lovely days to get married on, Valentine’s Day seems like a pretty good choice. Plus you’ll never forget your wedding anniversary!:) Check out some lovely photos from Our Bride’s Wedding Day Below!
